Lanzarote Fishing

After a great start of the week we were quite optimistic as to having a good week of fishing, but yesterday (the second day the Katfish has been out this week) exceeded our best expectations. We began the day trolling with no luck to our anchoring spot; however, soon after we got there, we had a bite on one of the rods where we had dead sardine on the hook. After an intense 10 minute fight put our hands into a beautiful six kilo white trevally. A bit later, and using live bait one of our clients had an even better catch: a seven kilo Bluefish. But to top it all we later had a 30 kilo stingray and a very unlikely catch, a one and a half kilo octopuss! Here are some photos of the day (remember you can see more on our gallery)
